May!

OK!
It's been forever it seems since I updated last, I know. BUT I have been busy. Very very busy! Working around the clock. May has been good for completing some of my larger tattoo projects. I'm going to start with some black and grey work. Tomorrow I will probably upload a bunch of color work.
First to be completed was Jeremy's Noah's Ark piece - but you will have to wait for a healed photo of that one.
So we will move on to Craig. Craig comes down from the Baton Rouge area. He has two half-sleeves by me and we finished his chest this go round. We figure there's about 20 or so hours just on his chest (over 4 sittings) and 40 hours all around, easy. This guy can sit! The chest is a collision and extension of the two half-sleeves. It's all in black and grey with the heart being the only part in color to give it more emphasis. He pretty much let me do my thing with the designs, giving me a general idea of his direction with the good/evil theme.

I have a photo of his other half sleeve but I will have to dig in my external hard drive to find it... I'll post when I do.

Later in the week Kyle stopped by and we took some photos of his healed backpiece. Kyle came in with an interesting idea for his back, chock full of meaning but it also came together in an interesting visual way! He had a list of things he wanted: a portrait of himself whistling and kicking a soccer ball, his daschund,  a wall with a chalkboard displaying maxwell's distribution, and an old school desk on the wall as well. Quite a lot to include!! He left the design to me but wanted it kind of cartoony, so I applied a kind of fish-eye look to make it more playful because I tend to have a more realistic approach when rendering.

Later tonight or tomorrow I'll upload even MORE photos of some of the other pieces I've finished. But that's all for now - gotta go eat some delicious foods and prepare for today's session.
